This workshop is appropriate for photographers who want to learn Adobe Photoshop, regardless of whether they are also using Lightroom Classic in their workflow.

Optimize with Maximum Control

In this six-part live online workshop experience, you'll learn to master the use of Adobe Photoshop to optimize your photos to perfection. Along the way, get your questions answered during the live sessions or via email.

The six live online sessions will take place during the month of March 2023. Each session will be approximately two hours in duration. All sessions will be recorded, so that photographers who register for this workshop can view (and download) the session recordings anytime at their convenience.

This online workshop is about more than just understanding how Photoshop works. You'll get tips on how to make decisions about the specific adjustments you apply, learn about achieving your full vision for a photo, learn about how various effects impact the perception of a photo, and much more. Along the way you'll gain confidence in your ability to use Adobe Photoshop to optimize your photos and realize your photographic vision.

Raw Processing

This session will teach you how to make the most of the initial adjustments you apply to your raw captures before continuing to a full workflow within Photoshop. Topics will include:

• The various ways of initiating the processing of a raw capture.
• Optimizing the overall tone for a photo.
• Fine-tuning color with white balance and saturation controls.

In this session you'll learn how to use the powerful image cleanup tools in Photoshop, which enable you to remove blemishes and visual distractions in your photos. This will include:

• Fixing challenging color problems.
• Coverage of all of the key image cleanup tools.
• Tips for making the most of image cleanup techniques in Photoshop.
• Powerful techniques for manually resolving blemishes and distractions in your photos.

Creating Selections

Selections are an incredibly powerful building block for applying targeted adjustments as well as creating composite images. This session will cover:

• Concepts to understand when it comes to using selections in Photoshop.
