Full Control in Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop provides remarkably powerful features that enable you to apply sophisticated adjustments to your photos. In this four-part live online workshop experience, you'll learn to make full use of some of the most powerful features in Photoshop. That will include advanced techniques for applying targeted adjustments, along with a strong understanding of how to make the most of various adjustments and filters.

Along the way, you'll be able to get your questions answered by Tim Grey during the live sessions or via email.

The four live online sessions will take place during the month of September 2020. Each session will be approximately two hours in duration. All sessions will be recorded, so that photographers who register for this workshop can view (and download) the session recordings anytime at their convenience.

• Extracting and emphasizing detail and texture

Selections Deep Dive

Selections are the foundation of targeted adjustments, and can also be helpful with other techniques when working on your photos. During this session, we'll explore numerous tools and techniques for creating optimal selections in PHotoshop. Topics will include:

• How to select the right selection tool for the right job
• Creating selections based on color, tonality, texture, focus, and more
• Using selections to improve your image cleanup accuracy
• And more

Mastering Targeted Adjustments

This session will help you realize your full creative vision for your photographs, with the ability to apply precise adjustments to specific areas of a photo. Topics will include:

• Applying adjustments to targeted areas of a photo
• Refining targeted adjustments to they blend in perfectly with the photo
• Adding filter effects to specific areas of an image
• Using targeted adjustment techniques to remove or replace a background

Putting it All Together

This session will help you put the various tools and techniques in Photoshop into context, and provide you with additional techniques for improving your photos. Topics will include:

• A review of real-world examples for applying sophisticated targeted adjustments to your photos
• Adding effects with plug-ins and other tools
